Description:	Hack In The Box Security Conference (HITBSecConf) is returning to Amsterdam in April this year with more than 70 speakers who will take to stage. This year’s marks the 9th annual HITBSecConf in Europe, and will run from April 9th to 13th at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky. Keynotes Michel van Eeten, Professor of Cybersecurity at Delft University of Technology will deliver the welcome address on 12 April Following this, the first keynote address will be by Marion Marschalek, a former malware analyst and reverse engineer who recently started work at Intel in order to conquer the field of low level security research. Jennifer Leggio, Chief Marketing Officer at Flashpoint will present the second keynote address 13 April. Currently responsible for propelling Flashpoint’s market leadership and customer acquisition strategies, Jennifer previously held senior leadership roles at Cisco, Sourcefire, and Fortinet. Amber Baldet, Executive Director and Blockchain Program Lead at J.P. Morgan, will deliver the closing keynote. She currently chairs the Financial Industry Working Group within the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and leads Product Development for the open source Quorum platform. Conference tracks The event starts with 3 days of technical trainings, followed by conference days on 12 and 13 April when internationally acclaimed security professionals will present their latest security research findings across four concurrent tracks. HITBSecConf also features free admission activities. One of the four conference tracks during 12 and 13 April is the CommSec track which is free for applicants. Interested participants are encouraged to register online once registration opens 1 March as it is limited to only 150 available seats. Alongside the CommSec Track talks, HITBSecConf will also again host their admission-free CommSec Village which will feature hacking challenges, technology exhibits and hands-on workshops for makers and hackers.
