Call for Participation 6th International Symposium for Industrial Control System & SCADA Cyber Security Research (ICS-CSR) www.ics-csr.com Workshop: Sept. 10 2019, University of Piraeus, Athens Conference: Sept. 11 & 12, 2019, Ministry of Digital Governance Athens Preliminary agenda: http://www.ics-csr.com/dl/2019-agenda-1.pdf The 6th International Symposium for ICS & SCADA Cyber Security brings together researchers with an interest in the security of industrial control systems in the light of their increasing exposure to cyber-space. The topics of interests are broad, ranging from security for hardware/firmware used in industrial control systems, to system aspects of ICS such as secure architectures and vulnerability screening to the human aspects of cyber security such as behaviour modelling and training. ICS-CSR is a research conference aimed at high quality academic and industrial research in any of the specified themes and topics of interest. We welcome original contributions that present innovative ideas, proof of concepts, use cases, and results from a variety of domains with a wish to enhance the security of infrastructure. This year's conference will take place on the 10th to 12th of September 2019 at University of Piraeus (Day 1) and the Ministry of Digital Governance (Days 2 and 3) in Athens, Greece. This year, the technical Program of ICS-CSR 2019 will feature: - 4 Technical Sessions - 2 Keynotes delivered by international experts in ICS security - 3 workshops delivered on the 10th of September - 1 session from ENISA on the current posture of Cyber security in the EU (free - no registration required for this session only) Keynotes --------------------------- Sokratis K. Katsikas (Open University of Cyprus and NTNU) “Security and resilience of the crewless ship” Joanna Burkey (Siemens) “Moving Beyond the Silos: Holistic Cybersecurity at Siemens” Workshops --------------------------- Zero Downtime: Blackout Edition - Limes Security The simulation game is based on a serious consideration: The participants learn about current IT threat scenarios and adequate security concepts as countermeasures at the forefront. Through the direct involvement of each individual, the learning content anchors itself strongly and sustainably; at the same time, teamwork is essential. In the end, the company that has best mastered the challenges is chosen as the winner. ICS Challenges : Trials and Tribulations - DMU and Airbus This workshop will look at some of the challenges typically faced within ICS Security. Walkthroughs of a number of ICS-specific Capture the Flag challenges will be presented to the participants, followed by a roundtable discussion of their real-world applicability. The workshop will also include a collaborative session to identify where challenges and pain points coincide or diverge between different industry verticals. Introduction to Reverse Engineering: UniPi Throughout the workshop, you will see live demonstrations of key reverse engineering aspects that will further enhance your understanding of the underlying logic and difficulties posed during this process.
