Two Days of SANS Instructor-led Workshops including Talks, Demos, and Hands-On Labs | Sunday, June 15 & Monday, June 16 Last year, we offered a full day of workshops for our in-person attendees and decided that this year, we’d need to make it two! Here are all the workshops that will be available. To help guide your selections, we've suggested workshops based on three role categories. You'll be able to choose the category that most closely aligns with your current experience level and responsibilities to get the most relevant and impactful experience. ICS Foundations Course Preview Led by Tim Conway, Jeff Shearer, and Robert M. Lee | Sunday, June 15 That’s right. As an in-person attendee of ICS Security Summit 2025, you get first access to this course preview taught by renowned OT security leaders. This session is an introduction to the field of industrial control systems (ICS) / operational technology (OT) and the cybersecurity considerations unique to securing these environments. Students will learn key terminology and fundamentals of industrial environments such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA, EWS, and HMIs, key industrial network protocols, and how ICS/OT and the physical process work together. They will also learn the ICS/OT Five Critical Controls and how to apply them to efficiently and effectively enhance the industrial cybersecurity of any modern industrial automation environment. This is designed as an entry level workshop suitable for all personnel of any background. For attendees with more intermediate and advanced experience, we'll be offering alternate workshops in the afternoon on Sunday, June 15. *Space is limited. There are seats available on a first come, first served basis. 3. Unmatched Networking | Summit Night Out to Epcot | Monday, June 16 We’ll head over to Epcot after hands-on workshops conclude on Day 2 to explore the park, then meet up at Isle de France at 8:00 p.m. where you'll be able to connect with Summit speakers, SANS instructors, and your fellow attendees.
