This no-cost, centralized log management and threat detection solution is specifically designed to empower small to medium-sized organizations with limited resources to strengthen their cybersecurity posture. The recommended audience for this webinar includes State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) governments, as well as private industry, small businesses, educational institutions, critical infrastructure sectors, and nonprofit organizations. We invite IT Admins, Security Analysts, Threat Intel Analysts, Cloud Security Engineers, Compliance & Audit Analysts, and Cybersecurity Professionals to attend this course. This course introduces the CISA Logging Made Easy (LME) platform. LME offers a scalable, efficient solution for logging and endpoint security. It is a log management and threat detection solution that empowers organizations to monitor networks and enhance their overall cybersecurity posture. In the course, we will demonstrate how to install, configure, operate, and maintain the Logging Made Easy (LME) solution on a supported Ubuntu server. The course will provide an overview of deploying Wazuh and Elastic agents. It also introduces the Elastic Stack components deployed with LME, including basic techniques for exploring data, analyzing events and creating alerts using ElastAlert.
