Description: You are invited to register for the Introduction to the CDM Agency Dashboard (CDM141) course. New to CDM or the CDM Agency Dashboard? Join us for this introductory course where you will learn the basics of navigating the dashboard, filtering your data, and creating custom visualizations to help analyze your cyber risks.

Audience: CDM Dashboard training is geared toward the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies; attendance will be restricted to attendees from these agencies. (https://cyber.dhs.gov/agencies/).

[CRITICAL] Course Prerequisite: Approved registrants must attend the mandatory student technical check the day before the event to validate they have working credentials and are able to access the content and lab environment from their machine/network.

Join us to learn the following information and more:

CDM Essentials: Learn how you can use the unified data provided by the CDM Agency Dashboard to enhance situational awareness, prioritize vulnerability mitigation activities, and ultimately have better visibility of your cybersecurity risks.

Engaging Discussion: Review the current CDM Agency Dashboard enhancements, to include: Data Quality Reporting, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Reference Data, FISMA Metrics, Summary Reporting, and other capabilities.

Custom Searches and Reports: Participate in lab activities to learn how to navigate and search the data within the CDM Agency Dashboard using the Elastic Stack tools. See how that data can be used to create meaningful custom reports to communicate query results to leadership and stakeholders.

Vulnerability Management: Learn how to prioritize vulnerability management activities to address (or mitigate) the most critical vulnerabilities first.

Hands-on Experience: Participate in lab activities using the current CDM Agency Dashboard training environment.

Registration is limited due to resource demand with simulated cyber range training; please only register if you plan to attend so we can maximize participation.

Due to participation requirements, please register no later than 48 hours before the course starts.
